On Saturday, 09.12.2017, the traditional JDOST Christmas party took place - as in recent years, again in the cozy JDOST garage in Gerasdorf near Vienna. Many JDOST members and friends followed this year again the invitation of the JDOST board, which thanked sincerely for coming.
Wolfgang gave an outlook on the dates scheduled for 2018. Wolfgang and I reviewed the past year. We had a lot of fun with the time travel, which we accompanied with a photo show - many thanks to Marion for putting together the photos for the presentation! Wolfgang sincerely thanked his colleagues on the board (Gerhard and me) and, of course, all the active enthusiasts for their support and commitment over the past year. Under the motto "from JDOST to JDOST", we again organized a donation raffle, the proceeds of which will form the basis for our activities in the coming year. Many thanks to all generous tombola prizes donors for the nice winnings, to Wolfgang for the moderation of the raffle, to Gerhard for the ambitious lottery and to Marion, who as a lucky fairy pleased the participants. The Christmas party finally ended for some only around 02:00 AM early!
I would like to thank - and I suppose I can speak here for all the members - at Wolfgang for the provision of his garage and Marion for the great organization (Editor's note: the garage had to be freed of vehicles and workshop equipment for this event , thoroughly cleaned, equipped with tables and benches and decorated for Christmas).
The board wishes its members and their families "Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year"!
