Neunkirchen, 26.05.2018: Twelve JDOST members and friends met at 9.30 AM at the JDOST sponsor Histo-Tech GmbH to attend the JDOST technology workshop on the subject of automotive electrics.
All had arrived and engrossed in gasoline talks. At about 10:00 AM Wolfgang Schöbel welcomed the participants and rang in the first round. Markus Gräf, the head of the house Histo-Tech and host, presented a whole bunch of theory. At first it was about electrical fundamentals and then there was information on various components such as fuses, relays, alternators, starters and circuit examples. Questions were answered satisfactorily and stomachs began to growl. In time, lunch was delivered - Wiener Schnitzel with potato salad. Saturated and satisfied, part two of the workshop started - the practice. Wolfgang Schöbel explained illustrative material - relays, switches, cables, starters, alternators, etc. After the practical part, the curious were looking forward to coffee and junk. Last consultations, tips and tricks and experiences were exchanged. At about 17:00 PM the interesting event was over. Many thanks to the JDOST chairman Wolfgang Schöbel and to the Histo-Tech managing director Markus Gräf for the organization and presentation of the valuable information.
