On Saturday, April 7th, 2019, training-minded JDOST members and friends will meet at 1.00pm in Klosterneuburg. In total, seven cars participate in this training - four Jaguars and three MGs.
The structure of the photoelectric barrier system proves to be tricky. Cables are checked and the sensors aligned exactly - and you can start. The first exercise to warm up: a short straight line of about 30 meters. The time between the first and second photocells should be exactly 10 seconds. The accuracy gets better with every participant. A gust of wind overturns the measuring system - a new place in the lee of a building is quickly found. The new position of the timepiece now allows a small circuit with a lap time between 20 and 30 seconds. With much enthusiasm and enthusiasm, the friends of the MG-Club and the JDOST members practice whistling their tires and stinking the brakes. At about 3.30pm, the end of the event is approaching, after all of their times have improved. The JDOST board thanks all participants and looks forward to the next training sessions - next time perhaps with more participants?
