Like last year, the already traditional Martini-Goose event was enriched again this year with a small but very fine tour!
Meeting place this time was the castle taverns in Vösendorf where already some members had gathered around 11:00 am. On time at 12:30 pm we started our tour direction Mönchhof in the local village museum. At 4:00 pm, the last stage was tackled. Through Hungary, this led us directly to Klingenbach to our final destination the wine tavern Wlaschits in Klingenbach where some of us moved into their rooms. At 6:30 pm we met for an aperitif in the specially reserved premises. After the really excellent goose was served, the cozy dinner turned into a wet and cheerful evening. The next morning, some members were more or less well-rested for breakfast, and a cozy Sunday brunch end this successful weekend.
Not quite because some of us did not miss it and drove into the "Arcotel Wimberger" where our hard-working members Mrs.Rigler & Mr.Wohlwendt were represented with a presentation booth at a charity event (Toni Polster's Celebrity Flea Market & Auction). High Celebrity density was given (excerpt): Toni Polster (football legend), Karl Retzer (Lisa film production), Reinhard Novak (cabaret artist and actor), Andi Lichtenberger (musical star), Toni Rey (magician), Mausi Luger, Matt shoe (singer) , Flea & wipe (cabaret artists) etc.
Some celebs did not miss the opportunity to visit our club stand to chat or talk shop about classic cars.
The board would like to thank all members for the participation and a big thank to Mrs. Marion N. for the organization and the selection of the locations and the route! We also send a huge thank to Sissy R. & Josef W. for their work at the Arcotel Wimberger.
