Saturday, March 7th, 2020: The starting shot for the JDOST technology workshop was given at 10 a.m. This was traditionally held in Neunkirchen by our sponsor Histo-Tech GmbH.
The topic was automotive electrics and ignition. Mr. Gräf, owner of Histo-Tech and host of the event, presented interesting basic information to the more than 20 participants. After the delicious lunch - schnitzel with potato salad - we were presented with a tempting ride. The 'MOTRO 2020' - a 240 km drive for vehicles up to 50 ccm. It will definitely be a challenge. This was followed by the practical part. Mr. Schöbel, chairman of the JDOST and long-time Jaguar enthusiast, brought us a large box full of visual material and let us share in his extensive experience. On the basis of the show pieces, he explained the functionality of relays, starters, alternators, ignition coils, etc. in a very practical manner. The very successful event came to an end around 4 p.m. and everyone went back on their way packed with knowledge. Many thanks to the host, Mr. Gräf and Mr. Schöbel for this great day. We are already looking forward to a successful technology workshop in 2021.
