Classic Expo 14. – 16.10.2022
9 years have passed since our last club stand and 2022 how quickly time flies! On Thursday, Heinz ; Hannes and I design the exhibition stand together - the stand was set up at around 5:00 p.m. The result was wonderful - JDOST received a lot of praise and recognition for the stylish club presentation during the course of the classic car fair.
100 years of Jaguar will be celebrated in 2022. Our contribution to the Classic Expo: the presentation of two classic vehicles: a 340 MK 2 Bj. 1968 and a Jaguar XJ6 4.2 Series 3 from 1983. Our competition "100 years of Jaguar" which met with great enthusiasm and was run by Mr. Schaffer was set up professionally, rounded off our booth in a worthy way. By the way, the winners will be notified in writing by us.
During the course of the fair, many active and former members visited us on the one hand, and lots of friends, partners and new prospects on the other. The stream of visitors was densest on Fridays and Saturdays until midday - in the afternoon the crowds ebbed away a bit. Sunday brought manageable crowds of visitors - but the individuals had more opportunity to inspect the valuable exhibits in peace.
The dismantling of the exhibition stand began at 5 p.m. on Sunday. Lively and efficient activity made it possible to depart at around 7 p.m.
The JDOST board would like to thank Mr. Winkler, Mr. Schaffer and Mr. Schöbel, who provided advice and, above all, action when setting up and dismantling the stand and looking after the stand at the 18th Int. Classic Expo Salzburg and who made their oldies available.
We will let the beautiful moments of the weekend linger on and are already looking forward to the 19th. edition of this top-class event in 2023.
