As in previous years, the already traditional Martini goose event was enriched again this year with a small but very nice tour!
This time the meeting point was the Hotel Klaus in Wolkersdorf in the Weinviertel, where some members had already gathered around 10:30 a.m. Punctually at 12:30 pm we started our tour in the direction of Eckartsau to the Eckartsau Castle, where we enjoyed an exclusive tour with punch and cake as part of the "Imperial Christmas". The last stage was tackled around 3:45 p.m. Via Pachfurth - Kaisersteinbruch - Purbach - Siegendorf this led us directly to Klingenbach to our final destination, the Wlaschits wine tavern in Klingenbach, where some of us moved into their rooms. At around 6 p.m. we met for an aperitif in the specially reserved room. After we were served the really excellent goose, the cozy dinner turned into a wet and happy evening. The next morning, some members came to breakfast more or less well rested, and a cozy Sunday brunch ended this successful weekend.
