JDOST Forum Rules – Jaguar Daimler Owners Sports & Touring Car Club

1. Membership & Access

• The public forum is open to all Jaguar enthusiasts and fans of other British classics to read.
• Writing, commenting and creating posts is reserved for registered users.
• Club members receive exclusive access to the private JDOST area.

2. Tone and respect

• Fair, objective discussions about vehicles, technology and events.
• No insults, personal attacks or discrimination.
• Advertising, spam and political agitation are prohibited.

3. Content harmful to the club

Moderators reserve the right to edit or delete posts that:

• Damage the reputation of JDOST or its members
• Violate club interests or statutes
• Contain illegal content (defamation, copyright infringements)

4. Technical contributions

• Describe problems with specific details (vehicle type, year of manufacture, engine)
• Photos and documentation are welcome (workshop reports, trips)
• Provide links to external sources with a brief explanation

5. Data protection

• Do not publish other members’ personal data without their consent
• Treat club member lists and internal information as confidential

6. Moderation

• In the event of violations, users will receive a warning (privately via PM).
• Repeat offences: possible exclusion from the forum.
• Moderators’ decisions are binding.
