Short report - "Brits meets Romans"

Under this motto, found on Sunday 31.7 at 08:00 from five different Automobile Vintage Clubs (MGOC; JDOST; AMICI ; COVC & historical American Car Club) approx. 30 vehicles at the agreed meeting point the parking lot at the "Riederberghöhe".

After a hearty breakfast on the terrace of the country guest house Klaghofer the squad under the direction of Mr. R.Unfried in direction Traismauer in movement. After a Parkchallenge around the main square of Traismauer, we enjoyed a 2 hour journey into the partly noticeably original ancient Roman rider Fort of Augustianis (Traismauer). Furthermore we had occasion the archives & Museum of Vienna int. Operetta society which is housed in the castle of Traismauer also to visit.

Then we went to lunch in the near distant "Marina Danube restaurant".

At this time, the temperatures not only in our vehicles in almost inhuman proportions were started to climb, so that some participants of a cool looking forward came home. The now smaller convoy with about 10-15 cars came Göttweig towards Wachau with the planned final destination.

In addition to a magnificent panoramic view of the Wachau Valley which we enjoyed with coffee and ice cream on the terrace of Göttweig Abbey restaurant, we had the wonderful day at many petrol conversation comfortably at the end of.
