On February 17th, the JDOST - members/friends met for the monthly CLUB EVENING in the club bar "Hotel Rest. Panoramaschenke" for a cozy exchange of ideas,some of our members accepted our invitation again and enjoyed a very cozy club evening.
This time we were happy about a company presentation of our new sponsor Mr. Bernhard Gugrel CEO of the company Oldtimer Workshop Gugrel. Afterwards Bernhard was available for questions. We would like to thank Mr. Gugrel again for his visit and look forward to a good cooperation in the future.
We were particularly pleased about the visit of Mr. Dieter Platzer, JDOST member and representative of our sponsor Jaguar Land Rover Austria. Dieter gave those present a highly interesting business update about the Jaguar Land Rover Group. On the one hand production and sales figures and on the other hand an outlook on the automotive future of our favorite brand Jaguar. After that, Dieter was available for a lot of questions and a hearty discussion.
Our other topics that evening included "Brief review of the FIVA/ÖMVV training on January 29th 2022; invitation to the 9th bowling championship & vintage training; presentation of the new newsletter; presentation of the WEST section; book auction; presentation of the NEW gazette; 100 years of the Jaguar brand 1922-2022.
As always, the evening passed far too quickly, and so some of us didn't leave the "Panoramaschenke" until around 22:30. I am already looking forward with you to the next club evening on March 17th, as usual, in the Panoramaschenke, where I hope to be able to welcome many club members/friends of the JDOST again - until then, as always, I remain with oiled Anglophile greetings.
