Hannes had invited people to the West Section's September club evening in a new location. We accepted the invitation and started the journey to Salzburg.
In the beautiful ambience of the old walls of the Schlosswirt zu Anif, other Jaguar enthusiasts gathered at 7 p.m. not only to exchange ideas on the subject of English brass, but also to reflect enthusiastically on the day trip to the Salzkammergut, which Hannes had recently excellently organized. After we had indulged in the culinary delights, Hannes started his presentation. We heard interesting things about JDOST's activities and interesting facts about the benefits for JDOST members when using our sponsors' offers.
A big topic for Hannes was of course this year's JDOST club appearance at the Classic Expo in Salzburg. We learned that this time the JDOST will be presented in a nicer hall and with more space, namely 120m². Visitors can also look forward to great vehicles provided by JDOST Friends.Hannes didn't need to particularly mention that such a trade fair appearance involves more effort. Everyone present has pledged their support at the fair.
Another topic was the October club evening of the JDOST West Section. As an exception, this will not take place on Thursdays, but this time on Saturday, October 21st at 7 p.m., i.e. on the evening of the 2nd day of the Classic Expo and therefore in a larger group, in the Hotel Königgut in Wals-Siezenheim.
After Hannes remarks, those present ended the evening with interesting conversations.
Our thanks go primarily to Hannes for organizing the club evening and the Schlosswirt zu Anif for the extraordinary hospitality, after all it was already past midnight when we left the restaurant.
