On Sunday, August 7th, 2022 it was that time again, we organized our annual meanwhile traditional breakfast in the countryside at the Wirtshaus Oliver in Wolfsgraben, followed by a darts tournament. Despite the not so great weather forecast for that day, we didn't let that stop us from going through with the event.
Punctually at 9:00 a.m. the first participants arrived, we mounted the dartboards and prepared everything for our "competition". In the meantime, almost all 23 participants had arrived and we enjoyed the good breakfast buffet, celebrated our birthday child Magda and started the competition at 11:00 am. Balancedly divided into 2 women's and 2 men's groups, we fought with great zeal for the wreath, which Karl Österreicher finally won. Our President Wolfgang arrived in time for the award ceremony and said a few nice words.
We then invited the entire group to our garden, where we spent the afternoon happily enjoying champagne, cakes and a sausage grill.
With a total of 7 dogs, which are usually with us on our trips. (Some are already talking about a dog club!!).
The weather gods were kind to us, it didn't rain until almost the end and it wasn't too hot either, so we had a lot of fun and the last guests stayed until after dark, which we were very happy about.
Hopefully next year we will be able to hold the event again in good weather.
