After three long years of waiting, the JDOST again invited to the traditional JDOST Christmas party in the VBH in Gerasdorf near Vienna. Many of our members did not want to miss this event and came.
Wolfgang Schöbel opened the event with a cheerful welcome speech and reported on the many new members who joined the club this year. The provisional schedule for 2023 is again packed with trips, workshops, training sessions, rallies and much more. Some members present (Ms. Magdalena and Mr. Johannes Korecky; Mr. George Brown; Mr. Bernhard Wagner and Mr. Heinrich Winkler) were honored with the JDOST badge of honor for 10 years of club membership. Wolfgang Schöbel and Michael Brockmann led through the big annual review of 2022.
Marion Nussgraber put together a large selection of souvenir photos to accompany the presentation. At 9 p.m. the time had come - the warm buffet was opened. The Christmas raffle began at around 10 p.m. Wolfgang Schöbel and Karl Schwoiser brought the lottery prizes to the cheering people - tears of laughter and joy were shed in large quantities. The Christmas party was again a great success - atmospheric AND funny. Many thanks to the organizing team around Wolfgang Schöbel and Marion Nussgraber, without whom this festival would not be possible in this form.
