Just in time before the start of the classic car rally season, the JDOST rallye training for interested parties took place on April 16th, 2023 in the Klosterneuburg industrial park.
We were happy to welcome two guest teams to the group. Seven cars took part in the 'Tipferlscheißen' (quote from Walter Röhrl) and perfected the feeling for their vehicles. Some took the matter seriously, others enjoyed the Olympic spirit. Everyone was obviously having fun and enjoying themselves. In some cases, considerable results were achieved with ZERO deviations - we take off our imaginary hats. Our course consisted of three light barriers, with each participant being able to choose their own target time during free practice. In the final championship, however, there were strict requirements. After free practice and a short break, there was one last practice session before it got down to business. Two competitions, each with three rounds, were unwound - the top results were remarkable. On the podium: 1st team Winkler, 2nd team Höbinger and 3rd team Brockmann. We congratulate the winners and wish everyone every success in the upcoming competitions.
We are already looking forward to the next rallye training session - perhaps with an expanded field of participants.
