On Saturday, February 24th, 2024, 16 curious participants enjoyed the JDOST Beauty Day 2024 at Histo-Tech in Neunkirchen.
Meeting point at 9:30 a.m. and the workshop began at around 10 a.m. with the obligatory group photo - including beach flags. Andi welcomed the participants and handed over to Mr. Stefan Deutsch, who accompanied us through the workshop. Michael’s Jaguar XK Coupé was used as a demonstration object.
First, parts of the body were cleaned with the ingenious WATERLESS WASH & WAX. In the first part, Mr. Stefan Deutsch demonstrated how painted surfaces - here using the engine hood as an example - can be processed correctly. After thorough washing, treatment with the MTS MAGIC CLEAN cleaning clay follows. Next step, a polish (e.g. SCRATCH X) using an eccentric polishing machine and a microfiber pad. Finally, wax is applied - from carnauba to ceramic, to feel the comparison. For classic cars, for example, the sealing with MTS PREMIUM CARNAUBA PASTE WAX is authentic. For those in a hurry, there is also a 3-in-1 thing that cleans, polishes and waxes - the jack-of-all-trades from Meguiars called 3 IN 1 WAX. We get into the interior by cleaning the glass with the PERFECT CLARITY CLEANER and the PERFECT CLARITY SEALENT glass sealant. Wonderwuzzi MTS NANOSPONGE in combination with the CARPET & INTERIOR CLEANER makes the almost impossible possible. After the leather has been cleaned, it can also receive extensive care - there are juicers and creamers for this too, and the leather is particularly happy about the ULTIMATE LEATHER BALM.
After all questions had been clarified, knowledge-giving technical discussions had been held and stimulating coffee had been sipped, everyone began their journey home with lots of ideas in their heads.
