Martini Goosetour 2018

Klingenbach, 18th November 2018: The traditional JDOST Goose Meal will be enriched for the first time this year with a small tour. At 12.30 pm, around 20 JDOST members and friends will meet with their vehicles at the 'Old Customs House' in Korneuburg.

Michael and Alexandra W., from the friendly MG Owners Club are warmly welcomed. Hungry food and thirsty drink, until at 14.00pm the imaginary start flag falls and indicates the start of the tour. The castle Potzneusiedl in just this place is the next destination. It starts in glorious autumn weather. Mr. Egermann receives the crowd with champagne - a tour of the castle with countless miniatures, sculptures, books, furniture, dolls, uniforms, watches, jewelery inspired the astonished participants as well as the wonderful Icons exhibition. Over 50 years of collecting passion - that's where a lot comes together. The darkness is on the move and at about 17.00pm the convoy moves on towards Klingenbach. Family Wlaschits welcomes the guests at 18.30pm in their wine tavern. After completed check-in all come together in the basement vault. JDOST Chairman Wolfgang S. holds a fiery speech. We toast with a glass of Uhudler-Frizzante on the successful tour and a delightful evening. Goose with dumplings and red cabbage delights the palate of most gourmets, often accompanied by "Blaufränkischem" Wine, fermented grape juice. Dine, drink, laugh and enjoy - the more than successful day ends at the witching hour. Some draw it into the home, the others pluck themselves into the apartments of the Weinwirtshaus. Good night, nice day! A lavish breakfast buffet is available on Sunday morning. Happy chatter and professional gesimple let pass the first hours of the 'Day of the Lord' much too fast. Gradually, the JDOST members and friends set off on their way home. It was again - as so often - a fabulous, top-organized event. A big thank to Mrs. Marion N. for the organization and the selection of the locations and the route!
