On Friday, July 8, 2022, the participants in this year's summertour gradually arrived in Melk, at the Hotel Wachau, Wachberg 3. Before we had dinner together, Michael B. gave a pleasant, short speech and we were handed the JDOST bags and road book. With good food, a glass or two of wine and stimulating conversations, we enjoyed the first evening together and the anticipation of the next two days.
On Friday, May 13th, the participants of this year's spring tour arrived at the hotel "Das Eisenberg" in St. Martin an der Raab. After a short speech and the handing out of the road books, dinner was enjoyed together.
As part of the ÖMVV Oldtimertage 2022, 18 teams with around 35 participants who want to move and display their mobile gems will meet on Saturday, April 23rd, 2022.
As in previous years, the already traditional Martini goose event was enriched again this year with a small but very nice tour!
Our autumn trip “Steak with Egg” was again a perfectly organized trip with highlights and wonderful routes. Maria and Heinrich took us from castles, over the Burgenland with culture to the highlight of the steaks paired with young, old timers and veterans in the in-house car collection.
Autumn tour 2021 - a story with 17 beauties and an outsider. Friday - in order to avoid the afternoon traffic, I have chosen an early approach to the Mondsee. In addition, I made an appointment with the understanding one to let the French thing through before I leave it in the garage of the Schlosshotel Mondsee together with the really important beauties.
After a year-long break due to corona, the participants who had traveled individually arrived at the Schilcherlandhof / Stainz late in the afternoon on Friday, July 9, 2021. Some members secured seats with a good view in the hotel's pub garden in order to attend the announced fashion show on the main square. Unfortunately, due to a change in the program, the start time was postponed and clashed with our dinner date. Other fellow travelers explored the city of Stainz and enjoyed ice cream and / or chilled drinks in the sunshine. Punctually at 7 p.m., the hungry jaguar enthusiasts were welcomed in the guest garden by the organizing team Brigitte and Michael B. and equipped with a starter package including a roadbook. After a brief address and checking of the vaccination records and / or PCR tests, food intake was started.
JDOST takes off - that's the motto of the two-day trip in autumn 2020. It starts on Saturday, September 19th. The meeting point is the Café delikado at Schloss Hetzendorf in Vienna. Before we left, we received the information that Wolfgang & Marion's XJS wanted to release pressure - unfortunately not through a suitable valve, but through a crack in a cooling water hose. With the replacement XJS, the two will join the group later.
