Everyone ate well. Otherwise, the Kaiser weather on the weekend 21./22. April 2018 do not explain. In bright sunshine, the participants of the JDOST spring trip gather at the private hotel 'Das-Schmidt' in Mörbisch. Breakfast on the sun terrace, important information for the tour of the organizers Wolfgang and Marion and at half past nine we go. Before the hum of the engines displaces the silence, a group photo is taken. Approximately 20 automotive delicacies claw the tire profiles like Jaguar claws (a coincidence) into the asphalt. XJ-S, S-Type, Mk II, XJ, 420, XK and X-Type garnished by Austin, Benz and Jeep set off.

At the last tour of the year we meet 10 km north of Vienna in Wolkersdorf, the gateway to the beautiful Weinviertel in the Hotel Klaus. Strengthened by a copious breakfast buffet, and motivated by warming sunbaths at the hotel car park, we start our journey further north to the deep wine district. Over lonely roads in gentle hillsides, passing by so many windmills, our convoy meandered towards the first goal: Herrnbaumgarten, past Poysdorf near the Czech border.

A successful summer trip from 1 to 2 July!

Meeting point was on the 1st July at 8:00 am in the "Berghotel Tulbingerkoge! at Wienerwald. After a rich breakfast buffet at 9.45am our two-day trip began.

Under the motto "Start in the spring" met the JDOST Members after the long winter break in large numbers in the Helen Valley near the hotel Krainerhütte to the spring tour, which was organized by Marion and Wolfgang. After a hearty breakfast and the obligatory group photo, the convoy set on time in motion. At a very brisk pace, 13 vehicles followed the red Mk2 about Mayerling through the Höllental.

2 day summer ride 2016 in southern Burgenland

We write the year 2016 after the birth of Christ, the year 94 to venture of the Jaguar origin 'swallow side cars' by William Lyons and the year 9 after the founding of JDOST - exactly the weekend 02/03 July 2016.

Countries of course only federal States are meant, after all we had time only a single day (and much).

With the parking lots at the meeting in Baden, the Schloss Weikersdorf, has not completely folded at the first glance, but ultimately then far better than hoped for: because the originally envisioned was otherwise engaged, we parked as well just how official the entrance perfectly what went out: last participants drive the driveway was clogged so joyful that anyway no one involved without stylish automobile could have.
