On Sunday, August 30th, despite different weather forecasts, some spontaneous Jaguar friends met from 9:00 a.m. in the Livios restaurant in Hainburg. After an extensive brunch in bright sunshine, the allocation of road books and drinks, 19 participants started at 11:00 a.m. towards Asparn an der Zaya. After a short time, the road book became absurd, as we were guided from one detour to the other.
On Friday, July 10, 2020, the English cats arrived one after the other at Pichlarn Castle to position themselves in a semicircle on the lawn in front of the castle and the 500-year-old mighty linden tree. Photos with distance, as expected during the Corona period, were taken. The participants were warmly greeted by Marion and Wolfgang with a glass of sparkling wine. The dinner together was taken in the Red Salon. The famous JDOST bags including route planning were distributed by our Marion.
Like last year, the already traditional Martini-Goose event was enriched again this year with a small but very fine tour!
under this motto stood the JDOST autumn tour 2019. Meeting point was on Saturday in the morning at the Hotel Höldrichsmühle in Hinterbrühl. "It's breakfast-time" - Arrive, have breakfast, register, chat ... everything was well organized and the tour started in light rain and tingling 11 degrees. More than 20 cars and more than 40 people counted the group of people. The Orga team, Mrs. Marion N. and Mr. Wolfgang S. were very happy to welcome the family Hauer with their E-Type Coupé for the first time. Stage 1 aimed directly at Maria Land Stüberl at the Schneeberg - about 80 km away from the start. The police tricycle in Siegenfeld did not cause any problems for us - it can be purchased as a barn find and is no longer in use.
In British summer weather was meeting point in the Lengbachhof Breakfast was for all who wanted, and before the departure, the first group photo. Then, punctually at 9:40 AM downhill, off we went behind Brigitte and Michael, the OrgTeam, through beautiful hilly landscape with beautiful views with decreasing rain, even a few sunshine opening up. About the Hochgschaid and smallest, romantic roads it goes to Traisen, where Bernhard has to pay before Lilienfeld membership fee to the law enforcers. Further to the south it becomes more mountainous, the views more spectacular, so we come to Annaberg, from then on we enjoy the view of the still snow-capped Ötscher.
The spring has arrived and with it the first tour of the JDOST - the JDOST spring tour. The Orga-Team Maria & Heinz Winkler invite you on a journey through Wald- and Mühlviertel. Actual start is on Sat, 13.05. at 9 o'clock - for many this is just after cock crowing time. Therefore, most of the participants decide to arrive on Friday evening in the 1. Faulenzerhotel in Friedersbach in Zwettl. So the weekend can begin comfortably with a delicious dinner.
Klingenbach, 18th November 2018: The traditional JDOST Goose Meal will be enriched for the first time this year with a small tour. At 12.30 pm, around 20 JDOST members and friends will meet with their vehicles at the 'Old Customs House' in Korneuburg.
