As part of this year’s Classic Car Days, 28 members met at 8.30 am at the ‘Hotel Lengbachof’ in Altlengbach for breakfast together. Following a briefing by the organising team, M. and B. Brockmann, 15 cars set off on the first leg of the journey at 9.30 am.

The route took us via Brand Laaben, Gölsen and the Kirchberg area, and at around 11.30 am we arrived at the car park of the bowling alley in Purgstall. From there, we set off on a hike into the Erlauf Gorge, where participants could choose between two different routes depending on their level of fitness.

At around 1.00 pm, all participants gathered on the terrace of the bowling alley’s restaurant, where a generous buffet satisfied our appetites and, having regained our strength, we were able to set off on the second leg of our journey at 2.30 pm.

This took us via St. Leonhard, Sooß, Daxberg and Pfaffing to ‘Stift Herzogenburg’, where an informative guided tour awaited us. After visiting the abbey and its church, some participants said their goodbyes and the rest of the group set off on the third and final stage.

After travelling via Weißenkirchen, Atzenbrugg and Tulbing, we drove to Oberkirchbach, where we enjoyed a delightful and fun finale at the ‘Wirtshaus Bonka’.

Many thanks to the organising team, M. and B. Brockmann, for this successful start to the season!
