On Friday, July 8, 2022, the participants in this year's summertour gradually arrived in Melk, at the Hotel Wachau, Wachberg 3. Before we had dinner together, Michael B. gave a pleasant, short speech and we were handed the JDOST bags and road book. With good food, a glass or two of wine and stimulating conversations, we enjoyed the first evening together and the anticipation of the next two days.
The Fantastischen 4 already sang “Summer - Sun - Sunshine” in their song “Let the sun in”. At the JDOST light barrier training on June 19, 2022, there was also 'wind' and 'broken battery', the latter being responsible for the delayed start.
The Wachau Eisenstrasse Classic. A vintage car rally, which wants to be understood as a pleasure and panorama classic, took place from June 2nd to 4th, 2022. JDOST decided to sponsor this top event. Among other things, by organizing an advance vehicle, an Alpine A110 S - kindly provided by Renault Kammerhofer, Tulln and driven by Andreas Icha. JDOST was again well represented this time - four teams were on the list of participants. Schöbel/Nussgraber (Jaguar Mk II), Winkler/Winkler (Jaguar XJ6 Series II), Kurzreiter/Kurzreiter (Triumph TR4) and Wimpissinger/Wimpissinger (MGB GT).
The classic car fair in Tulln celebrated its 32nd birthday in 2022 on the weekend of May 21st and 22nd. As in previous years, JDOST once again had a stand at this top-class event. This time again in Hall 3 - the main hall - which optimally showcased our club stand.
On Friday, May 13th, the participants of this year's spring tour arrived at the hotel "Das Eisenberg" in St. Martin an der Raab. After a short speech and the handing out of the road books, dinner was enjoyed together.
As part of the ÖMVV Oldtimertage 2022, 18 teams with around 35 participants who want to move and display their mobile gems will meet on Saturday, April 23rd, 2022.
In 2021, the COVID-19 pandemic put a temporary halt to our series of bowling tournaments, but on 19 March 2022, we finally got the balls rolling again at Wirtshaus Oliver in 3012 Wolfsgraben.
On February 17th, the JDOST - members/friends met for the monthly CLUB EVENING in the club bar "Hotel Rest. Panoramaschenke" for a cozy exchange of ideas,some of our members accepted our invitation again and enjoyed a very cozy club evening.
