JDOST ride of the ‘wild animals’, as part of the Oldtimer Days 2025

This year, a total of 22 members spent the classic car days together over 2 days.

On Saturday from 9.00 a.m., the first participants met for breakfast at the ‘Grosses Schutzhaus Rosental’ in the 14th district. After a short briefing on the route, they set off on the first stage at 10.30 am. After about 1.5 hours, we took a short break and the participants fortified themselves with coffee and/or ice cream. We arrived at the ‘White Zoo’ in Kernhof at around 2.00 pm, where other participants joined the group. After a tour of the zoo, we set off at 4.30 p.m. for the last stage to Krieglach to the ‘Hotel Stocker’, where more participants joined us for dinner. After an extensive dinner and pleasant conversations, the evening ended around midnight.

On Sunday, the participants met for breakfast together and at around 10.30 a.m. the participants of the ‘Red Bull Ring Classics’ drove together to Spielberg. There we were able to park our cars in a separate car park and enjoy the extensive catering in the ‘Bulls Lane’. Afterwards, we had the opportunity to follow races almost up close, we were allowed to visit the pit lane and inspect racing cars before the start on the race track. The highlight began at 5.00 pm, when we were allowed to get everything out of the cars ourselves for 20 minutes on the Red Bull Ring. Afterwards, our classic cars needed a quick cool down – especially the brakes – before we could start our journey home.

Many thanks to the organisers
