From 17 to 19 October 2025, the Classic Expo took place once again at the Salzburg Exhibition Centre.
On 16 September, we travelled from Vienna to set up our stand, where the vehicles for this year’s special show, ‘50 Years of Jaguar XJS’, were delivered from 2 p.m. onwards.
Thanks to our members and friends, we were able to exhibit an XJS Coupé, an XJS Convertible and an XJS-C Targa model. In addition, our chairman managed to secure W. Schachinger’s racing car, a replica of the TWR XJS ‘Tom Walkinshaw Racing’, for our stand. A beautiful E-Type Convertible rounded off the display.
After a lot of hard work, the stand was ready at around 5 p.m. and we ended the day with a cosy dinner.
On Friday and Saturday, we welcomed several members and many visitors and interested parties to our stand.
After many conversations and exchanges of experiences over coffee and homemade pastries, we drove to the Hotel Königgut in Wals at around 6 p.m. on Saturday evening, where we enjoyed dinner with 24 JDOST members and ended the evening with a glass or two.
On the third day of the fair, we welcomed several visitors and friends, bringing the fair weekend to a successful close.
We are delighted to have made new acquaintances and established potential collaborations, and we are also pleased to welcome new members.
Thanks to many helping hands, we were able to dismantle the stand within 2.5 hours from 5 p.m. onwards and set off together in convoy on our journey home to Vienna.
