Traditionally, the Oldtimer Guide serves as a reference and thematic guide, containing all the latest information on the Austrian classic car scene, as well as many fascinating stories about the industry.
On Thursday, 16 April 2026, the presentation of the Oldtimer Guide 2026 took place at the historic Möllersdorf Works, Hall 4, in Traiskirchen-Möllersdorf. Numerous guests from the Austrian classic car scene accepted the invitation, ensuring a lively and well-attended event. The Oldtimer Guide is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and is regarded as the central guide for the local classic car community. In addition to up-to-date data and contacts, it offers fascinating stories as well as comprehensive information on restoration, technology and legal issues. Under the motto ‘A Look Back’, the presentation looked back on the impressive development of the Guide, which has evolved over the years from initial notes into a significant platform with a strong network and digital presence.
A particular highlight of the event was the display of Helmut Koinigg’s historic Kaimann SV racing car – the winning car of the 1973 Seiberer Hill Climb – which attracted a great deal of interest from visitors. Many other exquisite classic cars were also on display.
Members of the board and members of our JDOST Club were present at the event and took the opportunity to chat with like-minded people. In a pleasant atmosphere, numerous interesting ‘car talks’ took place, focusing on experiences, specialist knowledge and a shared passion for classic cars.
The event thus offered not only fascinating insights into the history and future of the Oldtimer Guide, but also a valuable platform for networking and personal exchange within the scene.
