On 30 August 2026, this year’s JDOST darts tournament was held in Wolfsgraben.
A wonderful breakfast buffet at Wirtshaus Oliver was greatly enjoyed by the 15 JDOST members.
At 11 am, things got serious, with 7 women and 7 men competing against one another,
in glorious weather, with temperatures of almost 30 degrees, and everyone set about the competition with great ambition.
For several hours, the darts were thrown undaunted towards the two dartboards.
It was simply fun, entertaining and brilliant, but everyone wanted to be the winner, of course.
In the women’s event, Nicole came out on top, whilst Alberto was over the moon in the men’s.
Alberto also took first place in the overall standings, with our dear Heinz coming in second.
Nicole was delighted with third place, and Hans was even more delighted with last place and his jar of gherkins.
After the prize-giving ceremony, with laughter and plenty of applause, the event wasn’t over yet.
Our brilliant organising team, Maria and Heinz, invited us to their house – that was lovely.
There was coffee and cake, followed by a barbecue, and we even got to jump into the swimming pond to cool off.
