On 26 September 2026, eight JDOST teams set off for the Gerasdorf Oldtimer Classic, where this year 136 cars arrived at 9.00 am at the town hall in Gerasdorf for the start.
The route took us via Hausleiten to Tulln and on via the Dopplerhütte towards Gablitz, where we stopped for lunch at the sports ground. We then continued towards Hollabrunn and back to the town hall in Gerasdorf, where we celebrated crossing the finish line with a glass of sparkling wine. The participants’ skills were put to the test in four timed trials.
The evening event, including the prize-giving ceremony, took place at the Volksbildungshaus Oberlisse in Gerasdorf. The prize-giving ceremony began after a hearty dinner. We congratulate Claus & Philipp Howadt in their 1971 Porsche 914/6 on coming second in their era, and Wolfgang & Marion Schöbel in their 1958 Jaguar XK150 S on coming third in their era. Claus & Philipp Howadt won the JDOST classification ahead of Wolfgang & Marion Schöbel, as well as Michael & Brigitte Brockmann in their 1990 Jaguar XJS Convertible!
